Octopus bourdeto



A traditional Epirote octopus dish

1 medium- size octopus
1 kg potatoes cut into pieces
1 cup of brown vinegar
1/2 teaspoon red pepper
1/2 teaspoon sweet pepper
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 cup of olive oil


1. First boil the whole octopus boiled with 2 cups water and a little vinegar
2. Then we cut the octopus into small pieces and put back in the pot with red and sweet pepper tomato paste and oil.
3. After waiting two hours
4. Add the potatoes and leave to under 30 minutes
