The first mission of an underwater drone searching for the Malaysia Airlines plane wreck turned up nothing of interest.
The unmanned submarine was deployed on Monday, after investigators abandoned the search for acoustic signals from the plane’s black box using a towed pinger locator.
The Australian Maritime Safety Authority says analysts have examined the data from Bluefin-21’s first mission and no sign of flight 370 was found.
Fourteen planes and 11 ships will search for flight MH370 today in an area of more than 55-thousand square kilometres in the southern Indian Ocean.
