Australia’s favourite hairdresser, Effie Stephanidis has launched a mix CD of the best 90s hits to get you dancing.
Effie Stephanidis is back and she’s going from strength to strength.
The well-known persona from the television series Acropolis Now, played by Mary Coustas, announced the signing of her new record deal last week on Channel Nine’s program Today, followed by Channel 7’s Sunrise.
Making a grand entrance in true Effie fashion, she arrived at the Today show in a hummer limo with her two male backup dancers dressed all in black, hair teased to perfection, and looking as glamorous as ever.
The trio entertained the hosts and those watching at home with their impressive dance moves, before Effie joined the morning panel to discuss the release of her record.
A compilation album delivered over two CDs, ‘Effie’s Classic ’90s Hits’ features all the favourites and guarantees a number of flashbacks.
The first CD, entitled ‘On Your Feet’, features a number of party favourites, with songs by C&C Music Factory, En Vogue, M.C. Hammer and Paula Abdul.
While CD number two, ‘On Your Back’, as the provocative title suggests, is a compilation of slower love songs from the decade by Michael Bolton, Whitney Houston, SWV and Peter Andre.
The album is available for purchase at JB Hi-Fi and Sanity, or you can get yourself a signed copy from Social Family Records online at www.store.socialfamilyrecords.com/artist/effiegoodthanks/
