Jose Mourinho to earn £20m-a-year to replace Louis van Gaal as Manchester United manager

Jose Mourinho will earn £20million-a-year when he becomes the next Manchester United boss, reports say.

The Portuguese coach believes the deal is done and he will be paid almost double what Louis van Gaal earns.

And his salary will dwarf incoming Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola’s, according to The Sun.

The contract will make Mourinho the highest-paid football manager in history and the three-year deal will see him pocket £60m.

Guardiola signed a three-year deal worth £15m-a-year but his £45m deal is set to be blown out the water by Mourinho’s mega contract.
