The Council of State on Friday confirmed that it has given the go-ahead for AEK soccer club to construct its new stadium next to a park in Nea Philadelphia.
Greece’s highest administrative court rejected appeals by the local authority and residents who felt the new stadium would encroach too much on the park in the northern Athens suburb.
