A PRE-SCHOOL teacher has been sacked after stapling the ear of a four-year-old boy who was being naughty in class.
A doctor had to remove the staple after Feng Wu’s shocked parents rushed the boy to hospital.
The alarming incident happened at a kindy in Jiangle County, Fujian Province in southeast China.
It’s believed the teacher wanted to punish the child for misbehaving and decided to staple his ear in front of other classmates to teach him a lesson.
The boy’s stunned parents only discovered the staple when he cried out in pain when they were bathing him later that night.

He was able to explain that his teacher had done it because he had been naughty in class. By the time he was treated in hospital his left ear was badly swollen and bruised.
His teacher, Lan Li, 28, admitted what she had done and was sacked on the spot. The education bureau’s ethics board have instructed the school to pay for Feng’s medical treatment and pay compensation to the family for his suffering.
An investigation has been launched into Lan’s activities and she could face cruelty or assault charges.
