The Arcadians of Melbourne gathered to pay respect to the leader of the Greek War of Independence against the Ottoman Empire.

The Arcadians of Melbourne gathered at the Greek Orthodox Monastery of Axion Esti in Northcote, to lay wreaths on the anniversary  of the death of the general and  leader of the Greek War of Independence against the Ottoman Empire, Theodoros Kolokotronis (3 April 1770 – 4 February 1843).
