Μία ακόμη μαγική νύχτα για τον Ολυμπιακό στη φάση των ομίλων του Champions League. Μετά το Εμιρέιτς, οι «ερυθρόλευκοι» άλωσαν και το Μάξιμιρ του Ζάγκρεμπ με 1-0 χάρη σε γκολάρα του Ιντέγε και πλέον κρατάνε στα χέρια τους την υπόθεση πρόκριση για τους «16» της διοργάνωσης.

Οι πρωταθλητές Ελλάδας έφτασαν τους έξι βαθμούς και πλέον ισοβαθμούν με την Μπάγερν Μονάχου στην πρώτη θέση του βαθμολογικού πίνακα στον 6ο όμιλο. Επόμενη ευρωπαϊκή στάση για τον Ολυμπιακό, θα είναι το ματς της 4ης Νοεμβρίου με την Ντιναμό στο «Γ. Καραϊσκάκης», εκεί όπου ευελπιστεί ότι θα εξασφαλίσει την πρόκριση στην επόμενη φάση του θεσμού.

Αναγνωριστικό και για τις δύο ομάδες, ήταν το πρώτο ημίχρονο στο στάδιο Μαξιμίρ. Ο Ολυμπιακός, ο οποίος ξεκίνησε χωρίς εκπλήξεις στη σύνθεσή του και με τον Μιλιβόγεβιτς να πραγματοποιεί ντεμπούτο (ήταν τιμωρημένος στα ματς με Μπάγερν και Άρσεναλ), φάνηκε να ελέγχει το ρυθμό του αγώνα, αφού πρώτα χρειάστηκε να συμπληρωθεί το πρώτο ημίωρο.

Τριάντα λεπτά κακού ποδοσφαίρου, με τους γηπεδούχους να έχουν μία και μόνο ευκαιρία, κι αυτήν, από στημένη φάση. Συγκεκριμένα στο 28` και από την εκτέλεση φάουλ του Μασάντο από θέση έξω αριστερά, ο Μαζουακού έκανε την κεφαλιά προς τα πίσω, όμως ο Ρομπέρτο ήταν σε ετοιμότητα και μπλόκαρε. Στο 32ο λεπτό, το σουτ του Μαζουακού από περίπου 30 μέρα, ο Εντουάρντο έπεσε και απέκρουσε δύσκολα.

Όσο νωθρές εμφανίστηκαν οι δύο ομάδες στο πρώτο ημίχρονο, τόσο ζωήρεψαν στο δεύτερο, χάνοντας εκατέρωθεν σημαντικές ευκαιρίες για να ανοίξουν το σκορ μέσα σε διάστημα τριών λεπτών και συγκεκριμένα από το 52` έως το 54`.

Η αρχή έγινε από την Ντιναμό με τον Άντολιτς να σημαδεύει το δεξί κάθετο δοκάρι της εστίας του Ρομπέρτο, ενώ δύο λεπτά αργότερα, ο Ελαμπντελαουί άνοιξε ωραία στον Πάρντο, εξαιρετικό γύρισμα του δεύτερου στον Ιντέγε, με τον Νιγηριανό να αστοχεί με προβολή σε κενή εστία! Στο 77` η Ντιναμό είχε και δεύτερο δοκάρι. Από το λάθος διώξιμο της μπάλας από τους «ερυθρόλευκος», ο Ρογκ έπιασε το πλασέ, η μπάλα κόντραρε στα σώματα αμυντικών και κατέληξε στην εξωτερική πλευρά του αριστερού δοκαριού.

Η Ντιναμό έκανε τα δοκάρια, ο Ολυμπιακός ήταν αυτός που άνοιξε το σκορ. Στο 79ο λεπτό, από μπαλιά του Σιόβα στην πλάτη της άμυνας, ο Νιγηριανός από πολύ πλάγια θέση δεν πασάρει στον Ντομίνγκεζ που έρχοταν από πίσω, αλλά πλάσαρε ιδανικά νικώντας τον Εντουάρντο στην κλειστή του γωνία. Τρίτο σερί γκολ για τον Ιντέγε (δύο στο πρωτάθλημα, ένα στην Ευρώπη) για τον Νιγηριανό επιθετικό, ο οποίος νωρίτερα είχε χάσει το… άχαστο, αλλά πλέον ήταν ο ήρωας του Ολυμπιακού.

Στο 85` ο Ντομίνγκεζ από καλή θέση, δεν έκανε καλό σουτ, με αποτέλεσμα να μπλοκάρει εύκολα ο Εντουάρντο, ενώ ένα λεπτό αργότερα, το αριστερό σουτ του Ντομίνγκεζ, απέκρουσε ο γκολκίπερ των Κροατών. Στο 89` η μπάλα από την κεφαλιά του Τσόριτς έφυγε μόλις άουτ, ενώ στο τέταρτο λεπτό των καθυστερήσεων, οι Κροάτες διαμαρτυρήθηκαν για χέρι, όμως ο Ταλιαβέντο το μόνο που υπέδειξε ήταν το τέλος του αγώνα.

Zenit kept up their perfect record, Barcelona also opened up a big group lead, Arsenal defeated Bayern München, and there was a record-equalling 4-4 draw in Leverkusen.

BATE Borisov 0-2 Barcelona
Two second-half goals from Ivan Rakitić ensured Barcelona opened up a three-point cushion in the group as BATE remain in third thanks to Roma’s draw.

Bayer Leverkusen 4-4 Roma
It was the equal highest-scoring draw in UEFA Champions League history as both teams lost two-goal leads. Javier Hernández had put Leverkusen 2-0 up within 19 minutes only for Daniele De Rossi, on his 501st Roma appearance, to level before half-time. Miralem Pjanić and Iago Falqué seemed to have won it for the visitors but in the last seven minutes Kevin Kampl and Admir Mehmedi had other ideas to keep Leverkusen in second.

Group F
Arsenal 2-0 Bayern München
Bayern’s perfect start was ended, but not for want of trying after Manuel Neuer’s stunning first-half save from Theo Walcott. In the last 14 minutes substitute Olivier Giroud and Mesut Özil got Arsenal off the mark.

Dinamo Zagreb 0-1 Olympiacos
Olympiacos moved alongside Bayern on six points, three ahead of Dinamo and Arsenal, courtesy of Ideye Brown’s goal with 11 minutes to go. It gave the Greek champions, who had lost all three road trips last term, a second straight away win in the group.

Porto 2-0 Maccabi Tel-Aviv
Porto were captained by Rúben Neves, at 18 nearly two years younger than any previous UEFA Champions League skipper, and his team triumphed through goals late in the first half from Vincent Aboubakar and Yacine Brahimi.

Zenit 3-1 Lyon
It is three victories out of three for Zenit, who had never previously won even their opening two group games. They had the perfect start on three minutes through Artem Dzyuba. Although an incredible 49th-minute flick from Alexandre Lacazette levelled matters, Hulk’s equally fine effort and Danny ensured Zenit stayed three points above Valencia.

Valencia 2-1 Gent
Valencia are five points ahead of Lyon and Gent but required two own goals as Gent pushed them all the way. Sofiane Feghouli’s touch was turned into the visitors’ net by Lasse Nielsen on 15 minutes but before half-time a superb shot by Thomas Foket made it 1-1. However, with 18 minutes left, José Gayà’s cross-shot deflected in off Stefan Mitrović.

It’s UEFA Champions League Matchday 3 LIVE on SBS

The group stage of the world’s premier club competition, the UEFA Champions League, continues in October and you can watch DINAMO ZAGREB v OLYMPIACOS LIVE on SBS in HD and streamed online.

The Greek side is level with Zagreb on three points in Group F after each side beat Arsenal and suffered defeats to Bayern Munich.

Dinamo’s loss at the hands of the German champion was its first since November of last year and it faces another tough task against an Olympiacos side that has won seven from seven in the Greek Super League.

The fixture has traditionally favoured the home team. Dinamo and Olympiacos have met on four occasions in European competition and the last meeting not to be won by the hosts was a 1-1 draw in the 1998-1999 group stage.

That result secured Olympiacos’ first and only quarter-final berth in Europe’s premier club competition and Silva would not be drawn on whether this clash will decide how far his side goes in this season’s tournament.

“The most crucial game for me is not in Zagreb, but the last game if there is qualification. I cannot say that a match will judge our European path” Silva said.

Zoran Mamic’s men are aiming to secure qualification from the group stage for the first time in Dinamo’s history.

And Mamic is in upbeat mood ahead of Olympiacos’ visit to the Stadion Maksimir.

“Luckily we have the quality and the individuals who can turn a match and they have shown that [in Saturday’s game],” Mamic said.

“There was a lot goals, and this is a good invitation for everyone to come together on Tuesday to take down one of the greats.”

Olympiacos has a host of injury problems heading into the game, with veteran midfielder Esteban Cambiasso unavailable because of a left ankle injury.

Attacking midfielder David Fuster will also miss out due to a right calf problem, while Andreas Bouchalakis and Giannis Maniatis (ankle) will not feature.

Midfielder Domagoj Pavicic (foot) and Gordon Schildenfeld (thigh) are out for Dinamo as it attempts to put breathing space between itself and Olympiacos ahead of the reverse fixture next month.

There appears to be no stopping Olympiakos from strolling to yet another Super League title, as it thrashed AEK Athens 4-0 on Saturday, just three days before its crucial Champions League game in Zagreb against local Dinamo.

Olympiakos extended its perfect record in the league to seven wins in as many games thanks to two goals by substitute Costas Fortounis and one each by Alberto Botia and Brown Ideye.

The return of AEK to the top flight after two seasons of absence seemed to have found Olympiakos in the same shape it was three years ago when the two sides last met for the league in Piraeus and the Reds put six past the Athens team, that has now dropped to fourth at the table.

Olympiakos has moved six points clear of Panathinaikos, but the Greens have a game in hand which they will play on Monday at home against PAS Giannina.

PAOK dropped two points at crosstown rival Iraklis drawing 3-3 away in a gripping match at the Kaftanzoglio Stadium.

Iraklis led first through Giorgos Makris, Dimitris Pelkas equalized for PAOK, former Everton striker Apostolos Vellios gave Iraklis a 2-1 half-time lead before Dimitar Berbatov and Giorgos Tzavellas turned things around for PAOK. Berbatov had the chance to clinch the win but his penalty kick was saved by Iraklis goalkeeper Dusan Pernis and Sebastian Bartolini grabbed a point for Iraklis in injury time.

Panionios has surprisingly leapt above AEK into third through its 2-0 home win over Kalloni Lesvou.

In other games Platanias saw off Panthrakikos 4-0, Atromitos won 1-0 at Veria, Levadiakos came from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 at home with Panetolikos, and Asteras Tripolis shared a 1-1 draw with Xanthi, for a total of 23 goals in seven games over the weekend, a very satisfactory tally indeed.

Για φιλικούς αγώνες στο διάστημα 30 Μαΐου-7 Ιουνίου 2016

Η ΕΠΟ αποδέχθηκε την πρόσκληση της αντίστοιχης Ομοσπονδίας της Αυστραλίας για δύο φιλικά.

Δυο φιλικά θα δώσει η εθνική ομάδα της Ελλάδας το διάστημα 30 Μαΐου – 7 Ιουνίου 2016 στην Αυστραλία. Ακόμα δεν έχει ξεκαθαριστεί το πού θα γίνουν οι αναμετρήσεις, ωστόσο η ΕΠΟ έδωσε θετική απάντηση για τα δύο ματς στη χώρα.

Ως εκ τούτου, το ελληνικό αντιπροσωπευτικό συγκρότημα επιστρέφει στην Αυστραλία για αγώνες μετά από αρκετά χρόνια. Αυτή θα είναι η τέταρτη περιοδεία της εθνικής Ελλάδας στην Αυστραλία.

Επίσης, είναι ξεκάθαρο ότι το Λουξεμβούργο θα είναι ο αντίπαλος της Ελλάδας στο φιλικό της 13ης Νοεμβρίου.

LIONEL MESSI could prompt a bidding war between Manchester United and Manchester City by leaving Barcelona in 2018.

Reports in Spain claim the four-time Balon d’Or winner will consider his options because of ongoing disputes with the club over his alleged tax avoidance.

Under Financial Fair Play restrictions, it was previously reported that United are the only club who can afford him.

Barca could demand his £195million buyout clause is paid in one payment and The Guardian claim they are likely to do exactly that.

City are also reported to have explored the possibility of a bid but would struggle to generate enough cash to fund a move.

United are under no such restrictions and executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward has said the club would not baulk at breaking the world record transfer fee.

They were willing to break it to sign Gareth Bale in the summer but nothing materialised.

And Woodward insists they will continue to spend big after shelling out more than £100m on the likes of Memphis Depay, Morgan Schneiderlin and Anthony Martial in the summer.

“Whether it’s a [world] record or not doesn’t really resonate with us.,” he said.

“What resonates is an elite player that the manager wants who is going to be a star for Manchester United.”

A bid for Messi would dwarf all of their previous deals and there is also the small matter of the 28-year-old’s wages.

The Argentine signed a new five-year contract last May worth around £16.3m a season.

That means the total cost of any deal could reach as much as £275m.

KIEV, Oct 19 — Jose Mourinho’s erratic Chelsea team tackle Dynamo Kiev in Ukraine tomorrow knowing defeat would seriously complicate their chances of progressing from Champions League Group G.

Chelsea eased some of the pressure on Mourinho by beating Aston Villa 2-0 in the Premier League on Saturday, but go into tomorrow’s game on the back of a 2-1 defeat at his former club Porto in their previous group match.

The English champions have never previously lost consecutive group games, but ahead of a sapping run of six matches in 19 days, Mourinho knows how damaging another defeat could prove.

“Obviously you don’t need to lose and lose and lose, because then psychological issues are coming into the game,” said the Portuguese, whose side trail Dynamo and Porto by a point after two matches.

“In normal conditions, getting normal results — I’m not even saying win, win, win, win, but getting normal results: wins, draws, the odd defeat — then it’s a great month.”

The victory over Villa saw Chelsea bounce back from a 3-1 home defeat by Southampton in their previous game, but they remain 10 points off the pace in the Premier League.

Seeking to shake Chelsea from their recent torpor, Mourinho dropped Eden Hazard, last season’s stand-out player, as well as Gary Cahill and Nemanja Matic, and saw Diego Costa score on his return from a domestic ban.

Hazard eventually joined the fray in the 83rd minute, but Mourinho said that the Belgian winger can expect to remain on the bench until he demonstrates a willingness to up his defensive contribution.

With Branislav Ivanovic sidelined by a hamstring injury, Mourinho must decide whether to persevere with a reconfigured back line that saw Cesar Azpilicueta start at right-back against Villa, with close-season signing Baba Rahman on the opposite flank.

Dynamo have had an extra day to prepare for the game at the Olympic Stadium, having had their most recent Ukrainian Premier League fixture moved forward to Friday, but Mourinho believes his side can compensate in other areas.

“In this moment we are losing 24 hours to Dynamo, like we did against Porto,” he told Chelsea TV ahead of the teams’ first ever meeting.

“Porto played Friday, Dynamo played Friday. We played in Newcastle on Saturday (prior to playing Porto), we played again on Saturday.

“We are losing 24 hours. We have to try to recover that with other ingredients and the ingredients will be the same—fantastic spirit. Let’s start from that point.”

Dynamo’s rearranged fixture may have helped them prepare for Chelsea, but it proved a forgettable experience as they lost 3-0 at home to Shakhtar Donetsk, who knocked them off the league summit in the process.

It was their first league defeat in 39 matches, but Sergei Rebrov’s men can take heart from a record of only one loss in 10 European home games—a series that included a 5-2 thrashing of Everton in last season’s Europa League.

Mourinho reportedly scouted Dynamo winger Andriy Yarmolenko during Ukraine’s 1-0 loss to Spain in Euro 2016 qualifying last Monday, having been caught on camera semi-disguised beneath a grey hood.

Yarmolenko, 25, subsequently reaffirmed his commitment to Dynamo by signing a new five-year contract, but he remains open to the idea of playing overseas.

“I still want that (to play abroad). I know that if Dynamo get really worthy offers, we’ll find an option that satisfies everyone,” said Yarmolenko, who scored in last month’s 2-0 win at Maccabi Tel Aviv.

“I want the club to get good compensation for me. I could have left for free in a while, but that would have been wrong.

“I am 100 percent a Dynamo player. Our team is like my second family. That’s why I keep doing my best to benefit the club.”

Run-ups are over-rated, just ask Neymar who scored four goals at the Camp Nou on Saturday night – two of which were penalties scored from a standing start.

The Brazilian became La Liga’s top scorer with eight goals this season, scoring twice in each half as Barcelona beat Rayo Vallecano 5-2.

Luis Suarez made the third and fourth Neymar goals and then scored the fifth from a Neymar pass. Barca fans are counting the days until Lionel Messi returns. They sang his name in the second half as he watched from the stands alongside Andres Iniesta, who is also injured.

But while they wait for him to come back from his knee ligament injury Suarez and Neymar seem more than capable of holding things together and Neymar may just have the penalty-taking job for keeps.

Barca needed to be at their best because Rayo Vallecano came to attack and they gave the home side a first-half shock when former Manchester United winger Bebe crossed from the left on 14 minutes and Javi Guerra scored from close range.

Going behind was the price Barcelona paid for missing chances. Ivan Rakitic had been denied by Tono in the Rayo goal after being put through by Sergi Roberto and Suarez suffered the same fate after running onto Sergi Busquets’ pass.

Rayo’s customary kamikaze-high defence line was creating opportunities for Barcelona at one end but at the other Barcelona looked frightened of the pace of Rayo’s wide forwards Bebe and Lass. It was an evenly contested match until Neymar took over.

First his shot was flicked past Tono by Suarez only for the offside flag to be raised. Then his penalty show began.

He had already been denied one spot-kick when he tumbled on the edge of the area and on 22 minutes he was brought down by Diego Llorente and this time the referee did point to the spot. He picked himself up and without a run-up nonchalantly shot past Tono.

Ten minutes later he repeated the trick. He nutmegged Nacho and was tripped by the defender as he tried to continue his run. Again he took the kick from a standing start and again Tono had no chance. It was his sixth goal of the season and Barca had turned the game on its head.

Neymar could have had a third penalty but the referee waved away appeals at what looked as clear a claim as the first two he had given. Neymar also set up Roberto just before half time but Tono again saved. He had kept his side in the match but at the start of the second period Claudio Bravo was the busier of the two keepers. He made saves from Lass and Javi Guerra as Rayo showed they were far from beaten.

But Neymar was not finished either and he scored two more in the space of two minutes to finish off the opposition. If his first half goals had owed everything to his supreme confidence from the spot, the second half strikes owed almost everything to Suarez.

First the former Liverpool striker’s shot was pushed out by Toño straight into Neymar’s path and he smashed into the roof of the net. And then Suarez broke clear down the right and unselfishly squared the ball to the Brazilian who duly tapped in his, and Barça’s, fourth.

Suarez deserved his goal and Neymar presented it with him 14 minutes from time with a cross that he converted past Toño. Rayo scored a late second through Jozabed Sanchez but they had been well beaten. Their all-out attacking approach to the game meant they had enjoyed themselves even in defeat – but so had Neymar at their expense.

Ο Ολυμπιακός επιβεβαίωσε την ανωτερότητά του σε ένα ακόμη ντέρμπι του πρωταθλήματος, καθώς στο πλαίσιο της 7ης αγωνιστικής της Σούπερ Λιγκ, επιβλήθηκε της ΑΕΚ με 4-0.

Η «Ένωση» άντεξε για περίπου μισή ώρα (28’ Μποτία 1-0), ενώ στην επανάληψη αρκούσε ένα οκτάλεπτο ξέσπασμα στο 70′ με τον Ιντέγε και στο 78′ με τον Φορτούνη, ο οποίος διαμόρφωσε το σκορ στο 93′ με εύστοχη εκτέλεση πέναλτι.

Οι ερυθρόλευκοι πέτυχαν το 7×7 στο πρωτάθλημα και αυξάνουν συνεχώς τη διαφορά από τους διώκτες τους. Από την άλλη, οι «κιτρινόμαυροι» αν εξαιρεθούν ορισμένες καλές εμπνεύσεις στο πρώτο μέρος, δεν έφτασαν σε επίπεδο απόδοσης που να δικαιολογεί τις απαιτήσεις για ένα θετικό αποτέλεσμα στο Καραϊσκάκη.

Μετά από ένα αναγνωριστικό πρώτο 25λεπτο, το ματς άναψε. Το… σπίρτο το έβαλε η ΑΕΚ και συγκεκριμένα ο Πλατέλλας, ο οποίος με κοντρόλ με το στήθος και απευθείας αριστερό σουτ από πλάγια θέση έστειλε την μπάλα να περάσει ελάχιστα πάνω από το οριζόντιο δοκάρι της εστίας του Ρομπέρτο, ο οποίος πάντως φάνηκε να ελέγχει τη φάση.

Ένα λεπτό αργότερα ξεκίνησε το γκολ του Ολυμπιακού. Ο Ιντέγε με μία από τις γνωστές του επελάσεις από τα πλάγια, σούταρε σχεδόν ανενόχλητος υποχρεώνοντας τον Μπαρόχα να διώξει την μπάλα με τα πόδια σε κόρνερ. Το κόρνερ εκτέλεσε ο Τσόρι και η μπάλα έφτασε στον Μποτία, ο οποίος με καρφωτή κεφαλιά από τη γραμμή της μικρής περιοχής άνοιξε το σκορ για τον Ολυμπιακό στο 28ο λεπτό (1-0). Αυτό ήταν το δεύτερο γκολ του Ισπανού αμυντικού στο πρωτάθλημα, μόλις στην τέταρτη εφετινή συμμετοχή στην Σούπερ Λιγκ.

Τα… τζαρτζαρίσματα στο τελευταίο τρίλεπτο του αγώνα, απόρροια κάποιων (σωστών) αποφάσεων του Κύζα έφεραν νεύρα αλλά και κίτρινες κάρτες, με τον Δραμινό ρέφερι να κιτρινίζει τον Μποτία στο 44′ και τον… παγκίτη Κορδέρο στο πρώτο λεπτό των καθυστερήσεων του ημιχρόνου. Στη φυσούνα κατά την αποχώρηση των ομάδων από τον αγωνιστικό χώρο, φάνηκε να υπάρχει ένταση, η οποία έληξε με την επέμβαση των ψυχραιμοτέρων!

Ο Τσόρι Ντομίνγκες ήταν ο πρωταγωνιστής σε δύο μεγάλες ευκαιρίες του Ολυμπιακού στο δίλεπτο 64′-65′. Στην πρώτη περίπτωση το σουτ του Τσόρι από εξαιρετική θέση μπλόκαρε ο Μπαρόχα, ενώ στην δεύτερη περίπτωση και από την εξαιρετική εναλλαγή της μπάλας από τους Πάρντο και Σαλίνο, ο Ντομίνγκες έγινε αποδέκτης της μπάλας όμως η κεφαλιά που επιχείρησε βρήκε το οριζόντιο δοκάρι του γκολκίπερ της Ένωσης.

Η υπεροχή του Ολυμπιακού μεταφράστηκε σε δεύτερο γκολ στο 70ο λεπτό. Σκόρερ (για δεύτερο συνεχόμενο ματς) ο Ιντέγε. Ο Νιγηριανός υποδέχθηκε με πλάτη στην εστία την μπάλα, όμως με εξαιρετικό και πανέξυπνο γύρισμα έστειλε την μπάλα στα δίχτυα του ανήμπορου να αντιδράσει Μπαρόχα.

Στο 75′ η ΑΕΚ έχασε την πρώτη μεγάλη ευκαιρία στον αγώνα όταν ο Μπαρμπόσα από καλή θέση δεν μπόρεσε να στείλει την μπάλα στα δίχτυα, για να έρθει δύο λεπτά αργότερα το τρίτο γκολ του Ολυμπιακού. Ο Φορτούνης, ο οποίος στο 76` είχε μπει ως αλλαγή στη θέση του Τσόρι, στο 78ο λεπτό στέφθηκε σκόρερ. Στην «ερυθρόλευκη» αντεπίθεση, ο Ιντέγε έκανε παράλληλο γύρισμα, ο Μπαρόχα δεν μπόρεσε να μαζέψει την μπάλα και ο επερχόμενος Φορτούνης πλάσαρε στην κενή εστία κάνοντας το 3-0.

Στο 86′ ο Ολυμπιακός, σε μία ακόμη αντεπίθεση, έφτασε κοντά στο τέταρτο γκολ, όμως ο Πάρντο από κοντά δεν μπόρεσε να παραβιάσει την εστία του Μπαρόχα, με τον γκολκίπερ της ΑΕΚ να διώχνει δύσκολα.

Στο τρίτο λεπτό των καθυστερήσεων του αγώνα, οι γηπεδούχοι κέρδισαν πέναλτι. Ο Ερνάνι ανατράπηκε από τον Γκάλο με τον Κύζα να δείχνει αμέσως την εσχάτη των ποινών. Ο Φορτούνης ήταν εύστοχος από τα 11 βήματα (4-0), με τον διεθνή επιθετικό να σκαρφαλώνει μόνος πρώτος στον πίνακα των σκόρερ με επτά γκολ.

There is an unmentioned aspect of the new chapter in EU-Turkey relations. As the European Union plan to give the country billions, approve visa-free travel within the EU’s Schengen area and speed up EU accession talks, it needs talking about.

President Erdogan’s reign has seen an increasingly outward Islamisation of Turkey.

Yet he is now the person that the EU are now seeking to appease thanks to the chaos caused by the migrant crisis.

It is not a development that I welcome at all.

More broadly, I think it is frankly insane that the EU is going ahead with this proposal.

Agreeing to liberalise visa requirements for 75million Turkish nationals is just another example of madness inside the European Union.
