O γυμνός ταξιδιώτης έχει επισκεφτεί 17 χώρες από το 2009

Ένας άγνωστος μέχρι στιγμής νεαρός άντρας γυρνάει όλο τον κόσμο και φωτογραφίζεται γυμνός -και ανάποδα, με τα χέρια του στο έδαφος, σαν αθλητής γυμναστικής- σε διάφορα μέρη του κόσμου, από την Ασία μέχρι την Αυστραλία και τη Βόρεια Ευρώπη. Αυτοαποκαλείται ο «γυμνός που στέκεται πάνω στα χέρια του» (Naked Handstander), αλλά εμείς ας τον πούμε απλά γυμνό ταξιδιώτη.

Ο άντρας αυτός, άγνωστου ταυτότητας και εθνικότητας, έχει επισκεφτεί 17 χώρες από το 2009 μέχρι σήμερα, από τη Κίνα και τη Σουηδία, μέχρι την Ταϊλάνδη, την Τουρκία και τις ΗΠΑ. Και δεν το κάνει έτσι, χάριν γούστου: δηλώνει ακτιβιστής που θέλει να διαμαρτυρηθεί για την τακτική «προσχεδιασμένης αχρήστευσης» (planned obsolescence) των μεγάλων εταιρειών όπως η Apple. Η τακτική αυτή είναι η εσκεμμένη δημιουργία προϊόντων που δεν θα διαρκέσουν πολύ χρόνο και που δεν μπορούν να επισκευασθούν, άρα ο καταναλωτής αναγκάζεται να αγοράζει το αμέσως επόμενο μοντέλο ή, στη χειρότερη των περιπτώσεων, να κάνει διαρκώς αναβαθμίσεις στη συσκευή του, με κέρδος για τις εταιρείες και χασούρα για τον ίδιο τον καταναλωτή -ενώ ταυτόχρονα επιβαρύνεται το οικοσύστημα.

Ο κόσμος μας είναι συναρπαστικός γι’ αυτό και σας προτρέπω να βγείτε εκεί έξω και να βιώσετε τον κόσμο με τον καλύτερο δυνατό τρόπο και με τις αισθήσεις σας» γράφει ο ίδιος στο μπλογκ που διατηρεί με τίτλο http://www.nakedhandstander.com, ενώ σχετικά με το νέο iPhone 6 τόνισε πως «είναι σχεδιασμένο με την ίδια λογική (του planned obsolescence). Η Apple δεν επιδεικνύει κανένα σεβασμό απέναντι στο φυσικό περιβάλλον. Σίγουρα, τα προϊόντα της είναι πολύ ωραία σε επίπεδο σχεδιασμού, αλλά τώρα πρέπει να αλλάξουν την τακτική τους προς το οικολογικότερο. Έχουν μπροστά τους μια τεράστια ευκαιρία να γίνουν η πρώτη εταιρεία που θα κινηθεί προς αυτή τη κατεύθυνση».

Δεν αντιμετώπισαν όλες οι πόλεις τον γυμνό ταξιδιώτη με τον ίδιο τρόπο: στη Ρώμη κάποιοι μυστικοί αστυνομικοί τον κυνήγησαν και έσβησαν τη γυμνή φωτογραφία που τράβηξε. «Δεν είδαν την αστεία πλευρά της πράξης μου» λέει ο άντρας, τα κατορθώματα του οποίου περιγράφει, σε πρόσφατο ρεπορτάζ της η βρετανική εφημερίδα «Independent».

FC Schalke 04 made light of their injury problems by striking back to frustrate Chelsea FC who had been given an early lead through Cesc Fàbregas.

The inclusion of Didier Drogba – described by the pitchside announcer as “Champion of Champions” for his UEFA Champions League winning exploits with the decisive spot kick in the 2012 final – was loudly cheered by the home fans even though it meant their new hero Diego Costa beginning the night on the bench.

Against a Schalke team beaten 3-0 home and away by Chelsea in last season’s group stage and who were forced to leave eight players on the sidelines, the home chances began stacking up early on, Ramires scuffing his shot when granted a good sight of goal.

No matter – by the 11th minute the home team were ahead. First Fàbregas won the ball back with a robust challenge and then made an intelligent move around Eden Hazard before receiving the pass and blasting a shot through Ralf Fährmann’s dive.

Hazard threatened to deliver an immediate second goal and all seemed set fair for Chelsea even though Schalke were not giving up the ghost so early, Gary Cahill well positioned to block Huntelaar’s drive.

Filipe Luís, another Chelsea summer recruit from Club Atlético de Madrid, was also starting for the first time and his quality was underlined with two delicious left-wing deliveries. The first should have seen Drogba crown his return but the header was straight at the goalkeeper. Then Branislav Ivanović was unable to direct another immaculate cross on target before Fàbregas lofted the ball high into the stand when unchallenged near the penalty spot.

So Chelsea went into the break just the one goal to the good and that should have been wiped out when the dancing feet of Julian Draxler took him beyond three defenders, only to poke wide. Drogba came close again at the start of the second half and that proved decisive as Schalke struk back in the 62nd minute with a thrilling breakaway goal.

Fàbregas was robbed deep in the opposition half and away went Draxler at pace. He fed Huntelaar who delivered his shot inside Thibaut Courtois’ right-hand post to earn the visitors a valuable point.

Jérôme Boateng scored a 90th-minute winner against his former club as Josep Guardiola’s side broke through at the last in Munich.

Jérôme Boateng struck his first ever UEFA Champions League goal in the 90th minute to give FC Bayern München victory in their opening Group E match against Manchester City FC.

The two clubs resumed their rivalry having met in two of the past three UEFA Champions League group stages and Bayern kept their noses in front in the overall head-to-head record as Boateng struck in the final minute to give the Bundesliga champions what was ultimately a deserved victory.

The Bavarian side almost got off to the best of starts when Mario Götze and Robert Lewandowski combined to put Thomas Müller through within 50 seconds of the kick-off. To the incredulity of the home crowd, the Germany forward could only find the side-netting after rounding Joe Hart.

Bayern looked sharp but City, coordinated by assistant coach Rubén Cousillas owing to Manuel Pellegrini’s touchline ban, slowly found their feet. Indeed, the visitors almost took a lead when Manuel Neuer was forced to claw out Edin Džeko’s near-post strike.

It was the home side in the ascendancy, though, and but for Hart they may have been well clear by the interval. The England No1 did brilliantly to react to Müller’s powerful header, before blocking another effort from Götze and then keeping out a fierce shot from the impressive David Alaba.

At the other end Džeko curled narrowly wide, but the City threat was sporadic as Bayern continued to press. Lewandowski had an identical chance to Müller’s in the first minute, but again fired into the side-netting from a slightly narrower angle.

The intensity of Bayern’s play dropped in the second period and the error count increased. Hart was again called into action to keep out Götze after a delightful flick from fellow FIFA World Cup winner Müller, but City were now on a par and could easily have stolen a march when David Silva headed Jésus Navas’ cross past the post.

The English title holders brought on Sergio Agüero and Bayern soon responded with the introduction of Arjen Robben in the hope of tipping the scales in the latter stages. The winner, however, came from an unlikely source as Boateng, having been denied by Hart moments earlier, fired into the far corner via a deflection to earn Bayern all three points.

Τζο Χαρτ έκανε σπουδαία εμφάνιση, αλλά δεν μπόρεσε να σταματήσει και το σουτ του Τζερόμ Μπόατενγκ στο 90′, έτσι η Μπάγερν νίκησε με 1-0 την Μάντσεστερ Σίτι στο Μόναχο.

Σπουδαίο ματς στο Μόναχο, με πολλές φάσεις και για τις δύο ομάδες, κυρίως όμως για την Μπάγερν, την οποία σταματούσε ο Τζο Χαρτ.

Ο Άγγλος τερματοφύλακας της Μάντσεστερ Σίτι πραγματοποίησε σπουδαία εμφάνιση, αλλά στο 90′ “λύγισε”, καθώς ο Τζερόμ Μπόατενγκ άνοιξε το σκορ και χάρισε τη νίκη στην ομάδα, όμως το σουτ κόντραρε λίγο στην πλάτη του Λεβαντόβσκι και η μπάλα πήρε λίγο ύψος.

Ρόμα – ΤΣΣΚΑ Μόσχας 5-1

Το μεγάλο απόκτημα της Ρόμα, ο Χουάν Μανουέλ Ιτούρμπε, άνοιξε το σκορ στο 7ο λεπτό για τους “τζαρορόσι”, έπειτα από ασίστ του Ζερβινιό, με τους ρόλους να αντιστρέφονται στο 10′ και τον Ιβοριανό να κάνει το 2-0 από πάσα του Αργεντινού.

Το τρίτο γκολ των Ρωμαίων ήταν… δώρο του Ίγκορ Ακινφέεβ, καθώς ο Μάικον μπήκε από δεξιά στην περιοχή και σούταρε, φάνταζε εύκολο το έργο του Ρώσου πορτιέρε, όμως δεν κατάφερε να αποκρούσει σωστά και η μπάλα κατέληξε στα δίχτυα του για το 3-0 στο 20′.

Στο 31′ ο Ζερβινιό πέτυχε το δεύτερο τέρμα του στο ματς και έκανε το 4-0 με εντυπωσιακή ατομική προσπάθεια σε αντεπίθεση από αριστερά.

Από σέντρα του Βασίλη Τοροσίδη από αριστερά ο Σεργκέι Ιγκνασέβιτς προ του Φλορέντσι προσπάθησε να διώξει την μπάλα με κεφαλιά, αλλά πέτυχε αυτογκόλ και έκανε άθελά του το 5-0, ενώ στο 82′ πέτυχε το γκολ της τιμής ο Μούσα, μειώνοντας για το τελικό 5-1.

Ο ΑΠΟΕΛ πάλεψε στη Βαρκελώνη, αλλά δεν απέφυγε την ήττα (1-0) από την ανανεωμένη Μπαρτσελόνα του Λουίς Ενρίκε στην πρεμιέρα του 6ου ομίλου στο Champions League. Ο Άγιαξ στέρησε δύο βαθμούς από την Παρί Σεν Ζερμέν (1-1).

Το βασικό ζητούμενο για τον ΑΠΟΕΛ στο “Καμπ Νου” ήταν ν’ αμυνθεί αποτελεσματικά και να ψάξει, αν μπορέσει, οτιδήποτε στην αντεπίθεση. Θαρραλέα και καλά στημένη η ομάδα του Γιώργου Δώνη, δεν τρόμαξε από την Μπαρτσελόνα των επτά παικτών της Μασία στο αρχικό σχήμα και με τις γραμμές πολύ κοντά θα έβγαζε αναίμακτα το πρώτο μισό, αν στο 28′ έλειπε η αδράνεια στο φάουλ του Μέσι.  Ο τελευταίος σέρβιρε με το αριστερό στον αμαρκάριστο στην περιοχή στον Πικέ και αυτός σκόραρε με το κεφάλι.

Το γκολ των γηπεδούχων κάθε άλλο παρά απογοήτευσε τους πρωταθλητές Κύπρου. Μάλλον τους πείσμωσε και τους ατσάλωσε. Ο κορυφαίος Πάρντο έδιωξε στο 40′ το σουτ του Μέσι και στο 57′ ο Ντε Βισέντι πάτησε περιοχή απειλώντας (κόντρα – κόρνερ στον Μπαρτρά), ήταν όμως δύσκολο για τον ΑΠΟΕΛ να αποσπάσει κάτι από το εν λόγω ματς.

Ο Μαντούκα, που μπήκε στο γήπεδο, είχε μια πολύ καλή κούρσα από δεξιά, άλλη μία επιχείρησε ο Ντε Βινσέντι, η πραγματικά μεγάλη ευκαιρία όμως των “κιτρινομπλε” χάθηκε στο 91′. Ο Μαντούκα δοκίμασε το πόδι του από μακριά και ο Τερ Στέργκεν έσωσε με υπερένταση σε κόρνερ. Θα ήταν αναμφίβολα το ιδανικό φινάλε σε μια σπουδαία εμφάνιση για την ομάδα του Γιώργου Δώνη. Τουλάχιστον έδειξε ότι δεν θα είναι ο φτωχός συγγενής του ομίλου.

Στο Σαμπιονά η Παρί είχε τρεις ισοπαλίες σε τρία ματς και στο Άμστερνταμ έψαχνε το πρώτο εφετινό διπλό της. Μολονότι προηγήθηκε όμως, απέτυχε ξανά μακριά από το “Παρκ ντε Πρενς” αφήνοντας δύο βαθμούς στην εφετινή πρεμιέρα της στο Champions League.

Ο Φέλτμαν δεν είχε λόγο να διαμαρτύρεται για φάουλ του Λούκας, προτού ο Καβάνι σκοράρει στο 14′ σε κενή εστία, και οι πρωταθλητές Γαλλίας έθεσαν από νωρίς βάσεις για μια πιθανή επιτυχία. Pique nodded home in the 28th minute to help Barca – and their new head coach – kick off their Group F campaign with maximum points, although the determined Cypriot side offered a sterner test than many had predicted.

The Spanish giants’ triumph ultimately continued a 100 per cent start to the tenure of Enrique, who took the reins following Gerardo Martino’s ill-fated campaign at the helm in 2013-14.

Having managed to once again align a defensive nous with the kind of possessional dominance that was the hallmark of the Pep Guardiola years, Barcelona are beginning to look imposing.

Picking up where they had left off, Barcelona pressed forward further at the start of the second period.

But the visitors continued to defend impressively in numbers, with Enrique’s side struggling to find a way through their rearguard.

APOEL managed to offer the odd moment of alarm for the hosts, too, even if their final ball left plenty to be desired.

The Spaniards brought Andres Iniesta on for his long-time partner in midfield Xavi, yet even his introduction could not bring a second.

Barca were again denied just before the 90-minute mark, substitute Sandro shooting narrowly wide from just outside the area.

That seemed set to be the catalyst for a thrilling finale as Messi saw an effort cleared off the line by Mario Sergio before, at the other end, Marc-Andre ter Stegen was forced into his first save in the dying moments.

The goalkeeper reacted smartly to turn away Gustavo Manduca’s effort and snuff out hopes of a famous draw for the visitors.

We are very happy to be here – the Champions League is something amazing. We are playing against one of the top teams, the English champions, but there are many top teams in the Champions League. The first game is important for the tournament. It is a tough group, so starting with three points is always best. We have to focus on our style and our game and we will try to win.

You always have to move forward. We played well in Madrid [in last season’s semi-final first leg], but at home we played bad. Anyhow, in the last three to four years we have always been in the semi-finals. In football, like in all other sports, you have big wins and big defeats. This is part of the game and you have to learn from it.

The squad is strong and the level very high. Ribéry can’t play, though I don’t know more about it. I don’t know if he will play on Saturday in Hamburg, either.

Last season City were a very strong team – that’s why they won the Premiership. [Medhi] Benatia has been great the last few days. He arrived here [from AS Roma] with muscular problems and not too much training. We didn’t want to take a risk with this position. We are really satisfied with him and we are happy to have him here.

They were a tough side to play against, we respected them but didn’t fear them. We are strong on our home ground. Our coach prepared us for them, we followed his instructions on the pitch and that’s why we won.

I know what I can do. I had a hard time with an injury that kept me sidelined for a while. Thank God I am fit now and I don’t worry if I will score or not. I know that goals will come. They did tonight.

Our plans remain the same. We go from match to match. We wanted this win tonight, as we do in all our home matches with the fans on our side. Our next aim is to win at Malmö, a very tough encounter. However, we just need to follow our coach’s instructions and do what we did today.

My young son was the first to call me tonight from Madrid. Then my older son called. They know how important this match was for me. It was a very important win for us, but we have to forget it now and look ahead. And we have to keep improving.

All coaches study their opponents closely, but today my players worked incredibly hard. We have got the win and we are delighted. We played a bit like Atlético usually do and we took them by surprise. It worked out very well for us and we got our tactics spot on. You don’t achieve things like we achieved tonight every day. Getting into the last 16 again would be great news for us – it would even better than when we did it last season.

We have three points more than at this stage last year. It has been a magnificent night for me and for Olympiacos, we are really happy. This is a very notable victory because Atlético are not going to lose many matches. They are a great team, a team with a lot of character.

We made some errors. They were very focused and capitalised on our mistakes. We have to keep working hard and think about our next game, at home to Juventus, who are our biggest rivals in the group.

We knew that they were going to put us under a lot of pressure with their fans behind them. They scored very early on and it’s always difficult when you go 2-0 down. We knew that this was a difficult group, and the fans here really get on top of you. The game against Juventus is going to be very important, we have to keep working hard.

Diego Simeone, Atlético coach
We posed a threat throughout, but Olympiacos were very tough indeed. What made the difference was that they were more clinical with the chances that came their way. There is no doubt this was a very negative result for us and Olympiacos are now in a very good position. We feel we have a responsibility to bounce back.

In general we are in good form for the start of the Champions League. I am not one iota more nervous than I was before the match against Athletic Club. It doesn’t matter whether they play music before the match or not.

My job as a coach is to tell the players there are no easy matches. We have analysed every aspect of APOEL. They like to dominate games, they are tactically strong and they have lots of Brazilian and Portuguese players, so we will give them the attention they deserve.

I have said before that it’s a privilege to coach a team of players like this squad, and I am very proud to see the club working with their young players. To know we can sign players like Luis Suárez and that we have plenty of good players coming through the ranks is a privilege for a coach. The club have worked well to have all these players and the players are wise to decide to stay at the club.

Giorgos Donis, APOEL coach
We are in a very tough group and we are starting the competition against one of the toughest sides in the world. We have a tough task ahead of us but we will do our best. Barcelona don’t allow opponents to play well, they always have the ball, so we must be very disciplined, very focused in defence, and know what to do with the ball when we get it. Retaining focus is the most important thing.

This is a special experience for the team but I want it to be more than just an experience. They have respect for the best players in the world, but they mustn’t think any less of themselves. We are delighted to be in the group stage. We made a huge effort to win the league and get here, so now we have to enjoy it. There will be another huge effort tomorrow.

In modern football you get all kinds of surprise results but we are realistic. It’s no use sitting here talking about past results like Rubin Kazan’s here. We are realistic. When I see big teams like Athletic Club or Atlético Madrid struggling against Barcelona, we realise how big a task we have ahead of us. But you must always dream.

Τέλος η «El Mundo Deportivo» γράφει πως ήταν άδικο για την Ατλέτικο Μαδρίτης που ηττήθηκε.
