After two weeks hiatus thanks to Greece’s Euro Cup qualifiers and the postponement of all sports in the wake of a fans death, Super League returns this weekend to quite a lacklustre fixture.

One of the headliners will be ladder leader PAOK’s Monday match against fourth placed Antromitos. The Athenian team fantastically took three points off last season’s champions Olympiakos in their last match of the Super League, while PAOK is on a four match winning streak.

Olympiakos will be travelling to meet Ergotelis on Sunday. Both teams have had a problem with consistency this early into the season, but signs are showing
Ergotelis is changing its ways. The Herakion team’s last two matches were a win and draw, but this will be the first time it’s playing a top ladder leader.

Olympiakos hasn’t been successful in the off period, with it’s Champions League match 2-0 loss against Malmo still a bit raw.

Former ladder leaders, Veria have an easy fixture as they take on 17th placed Levadiakos on Monday. Veria has one loss under its name, while Levandiakos has three, and two draws. It might be a great chance for Veria fans to see their club on top of the ladder again if PAOK fails to get all three points this weekend.

Panathinaikos is on equal points with four other clubs, and might be able to work it’s way up a number of spots this week, as it takes on OFI.

Now it’s its second year in the Super League, Kalloni is showing its got what it takes to stay in the top part of the ladder sitting in third place on 10 points. It has a challenging match against newcomers Kerkyra on Monday, who are on a two match winning streak.

Xanthi has changed its fortunes a little this season, as its been undefeated for four matches despite three of those four matches being draws. It will need to focus on creating more chances close to the net while keeping its defence tight. It takes on Platanias on Monday.

Finishing the fixture this week is ninth placed Panionios, who take on twelfth PAS Giannina. Both have failed to improve consistency, and will be desperate to break the habit with their match.

Sydney FC coach Graham Arnold has cranked up the mind games ahead of Saturday’s A-League derby, claiming the Western Sydney Wanderers will have one eye on the Asian Champions League final.

The Wanderers slumped to the heaviest defeat in their history last Friday when they went down 4-1 to Melbourne Victory and Arnold questioned whether their focus was on the game or their ACL first-leg clash with Al-Hilal on October 25.

“I’ve been in those positions before and it’s a big distraction,” Arnold said.

“Knowing you have a huge game in front of you, players don’t want to get injured and miss those types of occasions.

“As Tony Popovic said it was a bad day at the office, they hadn’t conceded four goals before and are a very strong, well coached side.

“Was last week a one-off or was it because they had one eye on the Champions League? I’ll guess we’ll find out.”

Arnold claimed last week that the Sky Blues were still the biggest club in town, despite their Sydney rivals’ outstanding success over the last two years.

Sydney FC failed to secure a win last week against Melbourne City, despite scoring the first goal.

Star recruit David Villa made sure that his début on Australian soil would be remembered, and kicked a second half goal for City, leaving Sydney fans desperate to see their team score once again in the dying minutes of the game.

That leaves the two on equal points sitting side by side each other on the ladder.

Melbourne City have a home game this time, and will welcome Newcastle Jets to AMMI Park on Sunday. The Jets faltered in their opening match, succumbing to Central Coast Mariners 1-0.

The Mariners take on Wellington Phoenix, who disappointed their local fans after a travelling Perth Glory got the one up, getting two goals past their one.
2013/14 Champions Brisbane Roar have a tough match to come off the back of a 1-2 loss at home to a ferocious Adelaide United.

They travel to Perth on Saturday to take on a Glory desperately hoping to turn around their last season’s woes and dominate the top of the ladder.

Demetris Vassiliou says he did not want to make a political statement with his signing.

A football player claims to have received death threats after becoming the first Greek Cypriot to join a Turkish Cypriot team for more than half a century.

Demetris Vassiliou, 35, says he has been the target of abuse both personally and via social networking sites since news broke that he had signed for Degirmenlik, in the second tier in northern Cyprus.

“I never wanted to cause any problems and I wasn’t looking to make a political statement with my actions,” Vassiliou told Reuters.

“I just wanted to play football and the opportunity presented itself at a club which happened to be in the north, which was willing to pay me more than triple any club was prepared to pay me on this (the Greek Cypriot) side.”

But since signing for Degirmenlik, the 35-year-old father of two has lost his job coaching his local side, Omonoia Aradippou’s Under-15s and says he has also been threatened with the possibility of a transfer to a warehouse position by his superiors at the semi-state owned Electricity Authority.

He claims to have received threats to his life via text messages.

“Following my first training session with the club after signing with them I came home to find I had 30 missed calls and a number of abusive text messages and figured something had gone wrong,” Vassiliou said.

“I’m not the first person to go to the north in search of work and I won’t be the last but the treatment I’ve received has been very unfair.”

Hasan Sertoglu, president of the Cyprus Turkish Football Association, told Reuters he was “very disappointed” by the saga.

Turkish Cypriot clubs cannot presently play in international fixtures because of the ongoing stalemate on the divided island.

The enclave, officially recognised only by Turkey, was carved up after Turkey’s invasion of north Cyprus in 1974, following a brief Greek-inspired coup.

But the CTFA signed a ‘provisional arrangement’ with the Cyprus Football Association (CFA) in November last year in which both sides agreed in principle that the CTFA would become a member of the CFA after 59 years of separation.

Almost a year on, both sides appear to be waiting for each other to ratify the agreement.

In their second loss in four days by the same scoreline, Cyprus was defeated by a 10-man Wales in their Euro Cup qualifiers in Cardiff.

A defeat against Israel on Friday and this week’s loss deleted any hopes garnered from the opening group match win against Boznia and Herzegovina.

Elimination prospects are now high for the Cypriot team, who failed to get ahead early on in their Wales match.

It took Wales just 13 minutes to capitalise on Cyprus’ poor defence, with winger David Cotterill scoring an easy goal.

They were 2-0 soon after when Hal Robson-Kanu used Gareth Bale’s expert kick to get another ahead of Cyprus goalkeeper Tassos Kissas.

Cyprus fought back after a rare break in the Wales defence, with Vincent Laban shooting a cross from a free-kick that had Wale’s goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey out of reach.

Cyprus’ hopes lifted again when Wales was left with 10 men after Andy King received a red card for a tackle from behind on Constantinos Makrides.

Cyprus tried desperately to get an equaliser, but both attempts by APOEL winger Giorgos Efrem went high and wide.

In their group, Wales are one point ahead of second placed Israel and three in front of group favourites Belgium, who have a game in hand. Cyprus sits in fourth position.

Cyprus’ next international game is on November 16 at home to Andorra in what is a must-win game if the national team is to have any hope of making at least the play-offs.

Northern Ireland taught Greece a harsh lesson on Tuesday at the Karaiskakis Stadium with a 2-0 win that has kept the Blue-and-Whites pegged on one point from three games, or with seven games to go till the end of the Euro 2016 qualifying stage.

Greece, the team that used to be so hard to beat has now become the toast of Romania, Northern Ireland, and who knows what will happen in November against the Faroe Islands. The lack of creative midfielders who would feed the ball to the forwards was blatantly obvious, but Costas Fortounis and Petros Mantalos remained on the Greek bench for the whole of the game.

Instead manager Claudio Ranieri fielded two center forwards in Costas Mitroglou and Stefanos Athanasiadis, and two wingers in Giorgos Samaras and Nikos Karelis, but there was no link between the holding midfielders and the frontline of the team.

As if that had not been enough, the visitors scored with the game just eight minutes old through a deflected shot by Jamie Ward, following pressure applied on the Greek defense from kickoff.

The 20,000 Greek fans at the stadium could hardly believe how Greece got frustrated beyond recognition, while Northern Ireland was at times a joy to behold with its flowing and efficient game in the first hour, before it sat inside and just outside its penalty box to defend.

Karelis missed Greece’s best chance in the first half, until Kyle Lafferty, playing like a world-class striker, toyed with Roma’s Costas Manolas and was only stopped by the cross bar on the 45th minute.

The Norwich forward was not to be denied again five minutes into the second half as he outfoxed defender Costas Stafylidis to slot the ball past keeper Orestis Karnezis for 2-0.

Clueless as to how to deal with the visitors’ defense, the Greeks started making one cross after another, seemingly unable to find spaces for long-range shots or for intrusions into the box in the rest of the game. They will need to change ever so much if they are to stand a chance to qualify to the finals in France.

THE Sydney derby is not only heading for a sellout crowd this weekend but will also likely surpass any crowd the NRL managed this year at Allianz Stadium.

A crowd in excess of 44,000 is expected for the Sydney FC-Western Sydney Wanderers showdown on Saturday night, a mark the NRL could only dream of during the just-completed season.

In fact the only time rugby league came close to a similar crowd at Allianz was on ANZAC Day when 38,784 fans turned up for the annual Roosters-Dragons clash.

There are less than 2000 tickets left for the derby with FFA CEO David Gallop saying it goes to show just how much football has grown in a city where it’s competing against three other codes.

“The Sydney derby has quickly established itself as one of the must-see sporting events with an unrivalled atmosphere and sense of occasion for a club match across any code,” Gallop said.

“The derby typifies the growth of Australian football and even without the 100 years of history it has become the biggest box office event at Allianz Stadium every year.

“Last season’s Sydney derby at Allianz Stadium was an unforgettable night in front of more than 40,000 fans and a new chapter in the Sydney FC v Western Sydney Wanderers rivalry will be written on Saturday night.”

After 90,000 fans attended matches last weekend, the A-League is hoping to break their record for the highest single round attendance this weekend.

And with games in Adelaide, Gosford Perth and Melbourne, which will be City’s first home game since David Villa arrived, they should go close.

The Socceroos have been humbled by 96th-ranked Qatar in a significant setback to their Asian Cup preparations.

Australia fell 1-0 in its first ever loss to the Gulf nation on a steamy night in Doha on Wednesday morning.

It completed a disappointing Middle East swing for the Socceroos, who were held to a scoreless draw with the United Arab Emirates last week.

Australia again lacked fluency in attack and was made to pay for a defensive lapse as a second-half goal to Khalfan Ibrahim proved the difference.

The performances leave coach Ange Postecoglou with plenty to ponder ahead of next month’s home match against Japan, Australia’s final warm-up for January’s tournament.

Postecoglou again heavily rotated a squad featuring a handful of new faces, and the changes certainly contributed to a disjointed Australian attack.

But even with star striker Tim Cahill playing most of the match the Socceroos lacked a killer instinct.

Postecoglou made eight changes from the side that drew with the UAE, giving starts to the recalled Nikolai Topor-Stanley and Aziz Behich in defence, Mitch Langerak in goals and James Troisi in midfield.

Cahill was restored to the point of attack after coming of the bench against UAE and found himself with an early opportunity in just the second minute, but failed to get enough power on a header.

Qatar caused some problems in attack, with Alex Wilkinson required to make a crucial challenge in the eighth minute.

The best chance of the half fell to Troisi in the 23rd minute after Cahill won an aerial challenge in the box, but the midfielder had his decent shot saved by Qassem Burhan.

Josh Brilliante came on just after half-time for captain Mile Jedinak with Adam Federici getting a shift in goal.

Australia almost took the lead in the 51st minute, with Kruse forcing a good save out of Burhan but just as it looked the Socceroos were getting on top, Qatar went in front in the 61st minute.

A Chris Herd clearance across the face of goal handed Qatar the ball in a great spot and the Socceroos missed several opportunities to clear, with Khalfan Ibrahim sweeping the ball into the net.

Postecoglou responded by replacing Herd with Ivan Franjic while Bernie Ibini came on for Kruse, who encouragingly played another full hour to continue his comeback from knee surgery.

Postecoglou used a 75th minute drinks break to give his side a passionate address and injected Mathew Leckie and Brad Smith late.

Smith had the best chance to equalise in the dying minutes but scuffed his shot from close range as the Socceroos fell to Qatar for the first time in five matches.

The positives for Postecoglou included a solid full match from recalled left-back Behich while Topor-Stanley and Troisi made decent contributions.

After the match, Postecoglou admitted his team wasn’t good enough, and lamented the easy goal the squad initiated.

“Really disappointing goal to concede, very sloppy. You pay the price and from our perspective it’s not good enough,” he said.

Συνέντευξη στην κάμερα του συνδρομητικού καναλιού παραχώρησε την Τετάρτη ο Μίτσελ, ο οποίος, αναφερόμενος στο σπουδαίο παιχνίδι του Ολυμπιακού απέναντι στη Γιουβέντους, για τους ομίλους του Τσάμπιονς Λιγκ, τόνισε ότι θα ήθελε κι ο ίδιος να αγωνιστεί σε μία τόσο μεγάλη αναμέτρηση.

Παράλληλα ο τεχνικός των Πειραιωτών μίλησε για την κατάσταση των διεθνών ποδοσφαιριστών της ομάδας του, την κατάσταση των τραυματιών, καθώς και για το ματς με τον Εργοτέλη, που ακολουθεί.

Αναλυτικά η συνέντευξη του Μίτσελ στη Nova:

Για τη διακοπή στο πρωτάθλημα, τις υποχρεώσεις των διεθνών και κατά πόσο αυτές τον ανησυχούν: «Με ανησυχεί γιατί έλλειπαν αρκετοί παίκτες μας και πέρασε αρκετός χρόνος δίχως να μπορούμε να δουλέψουμε. Χαίρομαι πολύ να ακούω ποδοσφαιριστές μας να παίρνουν μέρος με τις Εθνικές τους όμως πιστεύω πως θα πρέπει να υπάρχει συνεργασία ως ένδειξη σεβασμού προς τους προπονητές γιατί έχω δέκα μέρες που δεν έχω δουλέψει μαζί τους.

Σε αυτό το διάστημα μία ομάδα όπως είναι ο Ολυμπιακός έπρεπε να είχε κάνει κανονικά 20 προπονήσεις. Οι μισές χάθηκαν λόγω των Εθνικών ομάδων. Είμαστε χαρούμενοι που οι παίκτες μας αγωνίζονται στις Εθνικές τους. Δεν θα το χρησιμοποιήσουμε ως δικαιολογία όμως είναι μία παραπάνω δυσκολία για εμάς από την στιγμή που λείπουν παίκτες. Και επίσης θα πρέπει να προσθέσουμε σε αυτό πως σε κάποιες φορές κάποιοι παίκτες γυρίζουν τραυματίες, κάτι που ευτυχώς δεν έγινε με εμάς. Ευτυχώς οι ομάδες συνεχίζουν να πληρώνουν τους παίκτες».

Για τη παρουσία των Ντουρμάζ και Αφελάι με τις Εθνικές τους ομάδες: «Ο Κασάμι έπαιξε επίσης πολύ καλά με την Ελβετία χθες το βράδυ. Ο Ντουρμάζ βρήκε μία καινούρια θέση στην οποία μπορεί να ανταποκριθεί πολύ καλά. Αυτά τα παιχνίδια είναι καλά διότι μας εξυπηρετούν στο να βελτιώνονται οι παίκτες μας.

Η περίπτωση του Αφελάι είναι πολύ καλή για εμάς. Είναι κάτι θετικό. Είναι το θετικό νέο για εμάς. Η περίπτωσή του είναι μία περίπτωση παίκτη που δεν έπαιζε πολύ στην προηγούμενή του ομάδα. Μετά ήρθε σε εμάς. Άρχισε σιγά σιγά τις προπονήσεις και μετά πήγε στην Εθνική της χώρας του. Κλήθηκε από την Εθνική του. Μετά άρχισε να παίζει βασικός αλλά και να ξεχωρίζει».

Για το σχόλιό του για την Εθνική Ελλάδας και τη μικρή βαθμολογική συγκομιδή: «Πιστεύω πως η κατάσταση στην οποία βρίσκεται η Εθνική Ελλάδας είναι παράξενη. Και αυτό διότι πιστεύω πως η ομάδα μας έχει πολύ καλούς παίκτες και έναν εκπληκτικό προπονητή, τον Κλαούντιο Ρανιέρι. Όμως το γεγονός πως έχει χάσει και τα δύο εντός έδρας παιχνίδια της απέναντι στους δύο ισχυρότερους του ομίλου δεν είναι καλό.

Επομένως δεν μπορούμε πια να βασιζόμαστε στην δική μας απόδοση και στα δικά μας αποτελέσματα. Πρέπει να είμαστε αισιόδοξοι και να ελπίζουμε πως θα μας βολέψουν και τα άλλα αποτελέσματα. Δεν πρέπει να κοιτάμε πίσω. Θα πρέπει να αντιμετωπίζουμε από εδώ και πέρα όλα τα παιχνίδια σαν να είναι τελικοί και να κοιτάξουμε μόνο μπροστά για να κάνουμε ό,τι καλύτερο μπορούμε για την Ελλάδα. Η Εθνική ομάδα της Ελλάδας θα πρέπει να είναι στην Γαλλία. Πιστεύω και είμαι αισιόδοξος ότι θα πάει».

Για την κατάσταση παικτών που είχαν προβλήματα όπως οι Ντοσεβί, Φουστέρ, Μπενίτες και Διαμαντάκος και το πότε εκτιμάει ότι θα είναι έτοιμος να παίξει ο Σιόβας: «Είναι όλοι έτοιμοι εκτός από τον Σιόβα, ο οποίος ξεκινάει από αύριο να προπονείται μαζί μας. Όλοι είναι στην διάθεσή μας να παίξουν όμως εξαρτάται από το ρίσκο που θέλουμε να πάρουμε. Από την έκβαση που θα έχει το παιχνίδι με τον Εργοτέλη και από το ποιούς θα επιλέξουμε. Δύο μέρες πριν από το παιχνίδι μας και δεν μπορούμε να αποφασίσουμε τους παίκτες που θα επιλέξουμε διότι δεν γνωρίζουμε ακόμα την κατάσταση στην οποία θα γυρίσουν οι διεθνείς».

Για το αν ο Σιόβας προλαβαίνει τον αγώνα με την Γιουβέντους ή κατά πόσο θα πάει πιο συντηρητικά: «Θα δούμε το πως θα πάνε οι επόμενες ημέρες. Το πως θα πάνε οι προπονήσεις του. Υπό κανονικές συνθήκες οι 4 με 5 προπονήσεις θα φτάνουν για τον Σιόβα και θα μπορεί να είναι μαζί μας στην αποστολή. Πρέπει όμως να είμαστε πολύ ήρεμοι και σίγουροι με την περίπτωση του Σιόβα. Ούτε εμείς να κάνουμε πάλι λάθος ούτε ο παίκτης να κάνει λάθος. Δεν έχουμε έτσι και αλλιώς πολλά παιχνίδια σαν και αυτό με την Γιουβέντους στην διάρκεια της χρονιάς».

Για το βαρύ πρόγραμμα που υπάρχει για τον Ολυμπιακό από εδώ και πέρα και το πόσο κομβικό είναι για την ομάδα: «Πριν από έναν μήνα ακριβώς με είχατε ρωτήσει το ίδιο πράγμα (σ.σ. γέλια). Είναι κάτι που συζητάμε πάντα με τους ποδοσφαιριστές. Πρέπει να συνηθίσουν να είναι πάντα έτοιμοι να παίζουν Τετάρτη και Κυριακή. Δεν παίζει ρόλο αν θα είναι ψυχικά ή σωματικά κουρασμένοι. Δεν παίζει ρόλο αν είναι καλά ή όχι. Πρέπει να συνηθίσουν πως θα παίζουν τουλάχιστον δύο φορές την εβδομάδα και να προσπαθούν ώστε να προσέχουν τον εαυτό τους. Να επανέρχονται καλά μετά τους τραυματισμούς τους για να συνεχίζουν σε αυτό τον ρυθμό.

Στην ζωή μας πάντα έχουμε δύο δρόμους για να διαλέξουμε. Το ίδιο συμβαίνει και στο ποδόσφαιρο. Μπορούμε να επιλέξουμε πως θέλουμε να είμαστε μία ομάδα που δεν θα παίζει στο μάξιμουμ των δυνατοτήτων της σε όλα τα ματς. Που δεν θα τα δίνει όλα. Έτσι θα ξέρει πως περίπου τον Φεβρουάριο θα είναι σε διακοπές. Ή να επιλέξουμε πως θα τα δίνουμε όλα σε όλους τους αγώνες και πως θα συνεχίζουμε έτσι και το ίδιο δυνατά για όσο μπορούμε. Από την εμπειρία μου ως προπονητής και απ’ ότι έχω μάθει ως προπονητής προτιμάει πάντα να ακολουθεί την 2η φιλοσοφία. Να πηγαίνει πάντα δυνατά και να βάζει τα δυνατά του σε ότι και εάν κάνει».

Για το αν η ήττα από τον Ατρόμητο παραμονές του αγώνα με την Μάλμε μπορεί να γίνει «μάθημα» ενόψει του ματς με τον Εργοτέλη: «Ναι σίγουρα ήταν ένα “μάθημα”. Όπως ήταν και το παιχνίδι με την Μάλμε. Εμείς βρισκόμασταν ανάμεσα στην Ατλέτικο Μαδρίτης και την Μάλμε. Τώρα είμαστε μεταξύ Μάλμε και Γιουβέντους. Το εάν θα μπορέσουμε να κάνουμε το παραπάνω βήμα εξαρτάται από εμάς. Πρέπει να είμαστε απόλυτα συγκεντρωμένοι και απόλυτα έτοιμοι. Γιατί θέλουμε να είμαστε όπως και με την Ατλέτικο.

Το ίδιο συνέβη και με τον Ατρόμητο. Και εάν εμφανιστούμε με τον Εργοτέλη όπως ήμασταν σε ένα μεγάλο μέρος του αγώνα με τον Ατρόμητο τότε δεν θα είναι καθόλου εύκολο να κερδίσουμε. Έχουμε 3 βαθμούς μείον σε σχέση με το αντίστοιχο χρονικό σημείο πέρυσι στο πρωτάθλημα όμως οι παίκτες μας δεν είναι το ίδιο δυνατοί και το ίδιο συγκεντρωμένοι σε όλα τα παιχνίδια συγκριτικά με πέρυσι. Με όλο το σεβασμό το κίνητρο θα πρέπει να είναι πως ‘εγώ παίζω στον Ολυμπιακό’ και όχι με ποιόν παίζει ο Ολυμπιακός».

Για το sold out του κόσμου ενόψει Γιουβέντους και το τι σημαίνει γι’ αυτόν και τους παίκτες του: «Πιστεύω πως είναι πιο εύκολο για έναν προπονητή να βλέπει αυτές τις εικόνες παρά να μιλάει για αυτές. Αυτό αποδεικνύει την πολύ μεγάλη εμπιστοσύνη του κόσμου προς εμάς. Και αυτό δείχνει επίσης πως εμείς έχουμε μία τεράστια ευθύνη απέναντι σε αυτόν τον κόσμο. Δεν πρέπει να τους απογοητεύσουμε. Και να μην τους απογοητεύσουμε όχι μόνο με το αποτέλεσμα αλλά και γενικότερα θα πρέπει να δείξουμε πως αξίζουμε την εμπιστοσύνη που δείχνουν αυτοί σε εμάς.

Οποιοσδήποτε από αυτούς τους 35.000 φιλάθλους έχουν αγοράσει αυτό το εισιτήριο, αυτό το χαρτάκι θα τα δίναμε όλα για να τους επέλεγε ο Μίτσελ ως προπονητής στην βασική ενδεκάδα. Όμως και ο προπονητής θα άλλαζε θέση μαζί τους. Όμως δεν είμαι πια τόσο νέος. Και επίσης ο Νικοπολίδης και ο Αλκόρτα με πιέζουν για να τους βάλω να παίξουν. Τι περισσότερο μπορεί να σου προσφέρει το επάγγελμά σου από το να σου δίνει την ευκαιρία να γίνεις εκείνη την βραδιά πρωταγωνιστής; Τα πάντα είναι για να μπορέσεις να παίξεις αυτό το παιχνίδι. Τα πάντα και όλοι. Εκτός από τον εγγονό μου, την γυναίκα μου και τα παιδιά μου».

Για τη στήριξη του κόσμου και στο ματς με τον Εργοτέλη και το σχόλιό του για το επερχόμενο αυτό ματς: «Κάποιες φορές δεν τους έχουμε μαζί μας τους φιλάθλους μας όμως όταν τους έχουμε είναι σαν να παίζουμε στην έδρα μας. Είναι πολύ έντονη η παρουσία τους. Όπως είπα αυτό για εμάς είναι μία ευθύνη. Μία πολύ όμορφη ευθύνη. Μας υποχρεώνει να αποδείξουμε πως θα πρέπει να είμαστε μία ομάδα που θέλει να είναι πρωταθλήτρια. Παίζουμε λοιπόν απέναντι σε έναν αντίπαλο που είναι μία πολύ καλή ομάδα. Μία ομάδα με πολύ καλό προπονητή που πιστεύω πως θα τα πάει πολύ καλά στο πρωτάθλημα. Παίζουμε απέναντι σε μία ομάδα που μας γνωρίζει καλά.

Έχει πολλούς δικούς μας παίκτες. Γνωρίζουμε το επίπεδο της ομάδας. Έχει καλούς παίκτες. Ποδοσφαιριστές που έχουν προπονηθεί μαζί μας, όπως τον Τζανακάκη, τον Λυκογιάννη και τον Βλαχοδήμο. Είναι παιδιά που γνωρίζουμε πολύ καλά πως έχουν υψηλό επίπεδο και που μας ξέρουν αλλά και τους ξέρουμε καλά. Το γνωρίζουμε όλοι, οι παίκτες και ο προπονητής ότι εμείς δεν έχουμε να κάνουμε τίποτε άλλο παρά να τα δώσουμε όλα απέναντι στον Εργοτέλη εάν θέλουμε να πάρουμε ένα καλό αποτέλεσμα».
